When we arrived at Freestore Foodbank, we gathered in the room and a lady came out and explained what we were going for the day. We were making bags for children that include two cans of chef boyardee, cheese, granola bar, 2 juice boxes, pudding, cereal, goldfish, and sunflower seeds. We made over 1,000 bags that day, we were moving through the line. I had such an enjoyable experience, and would love to go back again! It was nice to participate in this event with other AIChE members and get to know them a little better, and meet the other volunteers as well. I would love to do this event again!
